WATER TREATMENT SERVICES:

Envirochem International provides Equipment, services and chemicals for Reverse osmosis plants which includes complete installation and commissioning of RO systems for the customized specification according to the requirement of the clients along with the before and after sales services.

We provide intensive testing of the water which is being treated after that our Envirochem International team will provide necessary information according to the specification of the water for which type of RO system is compatible.

Different types of RO systems available are:

RO system for Brackish water:

Brackish water contains relatively high levels of dissolved salts and minerals. Depending on the location, it can range from 1,000 to 10,000ppm and high brackish is 10,000 to 15,000ppm. We offer solutions to all your brackish water problems.

Brackish water desalination gained wide acceptance during the mid-eighties when Reverse Osmosis (RO) membrane manufacturers developed robust membranes that could withstand cleaning, biofouling and high operating pressure over many years.

We manufacture both skid mounted and containerised brackish water systems, customised according to your needs, and have been doing so since 1984.

Our water purification systems are used across many sectors worldwide, including hotels and resorts, dairy and food processing industries, commercial and civic water supply.

RO system for Sea water:

About 96.5 % of total water on earth is seawater. Despite technological advancement over the years, it is amazing to think that we can safely consume treated seawater. With seawater reverse osmosis desalination system, water containing salinity up to 45,000 ppm TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) is treated and purified for us to drink.

At Envirochem International , our seawater desalination and water treatment systems remove salt and other impurities that make seawater non-potable. We are able to provide seawater reverse osmosis desalination solutions from 5,000 to 5 Million litres per day. We can also supply seawater desalination systems with ABS approval, in the capacity range of 25,000 to 100,000 litres per day.

The major advantage of seawater desalination and water treatment is that it provides safer drinking water on locations without any access to other fresh water sources. e.g. on board ships, offshore installations, marine vessels, islands, industries and seaside communities.

Ultrafiltration:

ENVIROCHEM INTERNATIONAL also deals with the most advanced technology known as the ultrafiltration.

The Ultrafiltration water treatment system, also referred to as the UF, is another variant of membrane-based technology, used by Advanced Watertek. Ultrafiltration systems are capable of removing a high percentage of microbes from the feed water. The process has modest energy requirements and offers a simple, chemical free, user-friendly method of treating water.

Ultrafiltration is considered an advanced pre-treatment method in case of open intake for seawater reverse osmosis plants where the conventional sand filtration may prove less effective.

Ultrafiltration modules are also used to treat river water where feed water is prone to fluctuation in turbidity over seasons. This Technology is successfully used in our projects to produce drinking water from river water and other surface water bodies where the main challenge is not salt content, but other impurities that lead to microbial formation.

Several containerised Advanced Watertek ultrafiltration units are under operation in remote villages in Africa where they remain the only safe and reliable source of freshwater for entire communities.

Nano filteration:

Nanofiltration is a filtration method using membranes that have pore sizes from 1-10 nanometers, smaller than that used in microfiltration and ultrafiltration, but just larger than that in reverse osmosis. It’s an effective method to remove divalent ions like calcium, magnesium, sulphates etc.

Always at the forefront to embrace new technologies, Advanced Watertek is the pioneer in the Middle East region to have employed nanofiltration technology for sulphate removal in hydraulic fracking applications. We can design, manufacture and supply systems for sulphate removal from seawater and brackish water used for hydraulic fracking.

Our customized mobile systems are of plug and play nature, designed to be deployed in remote locations providing reliable and efficient service at low cost per barrel of treated water. These systems have remote monitoring capabilities and can be designed for softening seawater used in Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) applications as well.

Advanced Watertek have a dedicated team of operators and technicians to support this segment and can provide efficient operations and maintenance services as well.

UV Disinfection:

UV light (ultra-violet) has the ability to cause permanent damage to a wide variety of hazardous organisms in water, air and other fluids. UV technology/Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection can be used to destroy such organisms that can cause health hazards, due to potable water contamination and process issues, due to bio fouling in process fluids.

Expensive and hazardous chemical and biocide disinfectants can be replaced by UV disinfection and reduce excessive and chemical handling.

Advanced Watertek has vast experience of having supplied numerous UV systems for various applications across multiple industries like Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, Marine etc. We can design and supply standalone UV systems as well as integrate these systems as pre and post treatment with our filtration and desalination systems.
